Week 38 – 15 Weeks Count Down
Gary and Philip are stepping up the training as the final months draw in to the Dakar 2008. Gary has increased his resistance training from 2-3 days a week with a trainer as has Philip. Philip was in Italy for the week training at high altitude with a twin cyclinder machine . Gary meanwhile was testing his 4 stroke KTM in the Dublin mountains. Philip’s Rally bike is due for completion next week and he will then be running it in on a closed trail track in the UK before servicing it and sending it down to Morocco for Part II of the Rally training program. The excitement builds……

Wow, training in Italy for the high altitude – are’nt you the man! U’ll be on tele next – maybe on the podium…

I was just running my eye over the entrants in the Dakar seen your names.
I’m a mad biker from Northern Ireland, just a wee line to say all the best lads, once in a life time chance to take part in the best race in the world lads stay safe and all we have to do is finish it. TAKE CARE…
